So my school is doing The Island of Dr. Moreau as its school play this year (which I find really strange), and I managed to get a minor part. Go me.
I was auditioning for a major part, but as I don't do drama as a subject, I believe I was excluded from the choosings. I ended up with an eight line part of Charles Doyle, who is a London pub goer.
Just thought I'd share my acting achievements with you.
That's great. Glad you're not in a gay musical, my school was stupid enough to make a re-enactment of high school musical. Eugh.
We did The Mikado last year.
I was in the chorus.
It was quite fun.

No, I believe I got a part where I stand around in a pub and make comments about a drunk, abusive father, and then make comments on Dr. Moreau.
Then I come back later in the play and make comments on Edward Prendick.
It's a very interesting part.
Charles Doyle is not developed as much as I'd like.
